Quick Verdict
At $23.39, this Skoiuc set is worth a closer look if you want long outdoor string lighting without relying solely on a traditional wall outlet. The configuration combines 100 feet of warm-white LED lighting with solar and USB charging, a remote, timer functions, dimming, and shatterproof ST38-style bulbs. The important thing is making sure those features fit your particular outdoor space.
What You’re Actually Getting
This Skoiuc configuration is designed as a 100-foot outdoor string-light system with 30 warm-white LED bulbs. The bulbs use a shatter-resistant ST38-style design, while the lighting system is built for outdoor use and is listed with an IP65 rating.
One of the more useful details is the power setup. The lights are designed for solar charging but can also be charged through USB, giving you another option when sunlight isn’t enough. The system also includes a remote and supports timer and brightness controls.
What Makes This Version Different
The biggest distinction is that this isn’t simply a basic string of plug-in Christmas lights. The solar charging system gives you an option for locations where running a power cord isn’t convenient, while USB charging provides a backup charging method.
The remote also adds more control than a simple on/off string. Product information for this configuration lists multiple lighting modes, adjustable brightness and timer settings. That makes the lights useful beyond Christmas decorating; they can also work for patios, pergolas, gardens, weddings and other outdoor gatherings.
The 100-foot length is another meaningful specification. It can cover a substantial area, but it also means you should measure your installation location before buying. A long string isn’t automatically an advantage if you’re decorating a small balcony or compact porch.
Where These Lights Make Sense
- Backyards, patios and decks that need a longer lighting run.
- Pergolas, fences, gardens and outdoor entertaining areas.
- Christmas and holiday decorating where warm-white lighting fits the look.
- Outdoor gatherings where remote control and dimming are useful.
- Locations where solar charging can reduce dependence on a nearby outlet.
- Campers, RV owners and other users who value portable outdoor lighting options.

What to Check Before Buying
How I’d Set These Up
Start by measuring the route you want the lights to follow and deciding where the solar panel will receive the most useful daytime exposure. Then lay out the string before permanently securing it so you can see whether the 100-foot length works naturally with your space.
Test the lights and remote before finishing the installation. Once everything works as expected, secure the string according to the manufacturer’s instructions and keep the solar panel positioned where it can receive adequate sunlight.
Is $23.39 the Part That Makes This Interesting?
The deal data lists $23.39 against a $99.99 reference price, showing a 77% discount. That’s a large advertised reduction, but the percentage alone doesn’t tell you whether this is the right lighting system for your home.
The more useful value question is whether you’ll use the features you’re paying for. A 100-foot run, solar and USB charging, remote control, dimming and timer functions can be useful if you’re decorating a larger outdoor area. If you only need a short string of simple lights for a small porch, a less feature-heavy option may be enough.
Final Take
The Skoiuc 100-foot solar string lights stand out because they combine a long lighting run with several practical features: warm-white LED bulbs, shatterproof construction, solar and USB charging, remote control, dimming and timer functions.
At the listed $23.39 deal price, this is worth checking if you need substantial outdoor coverage and can take advantage of the solar-powered setup. Before ordering, verify the exact Amazon configuration, bulb count, charging setup and current price. Those details matter more than the headline 77% discount.
